Thank you for this. It's radical to claim gratitude for being gay. I get that. And I relate. I, too, feel thankful for being born exactly the way I am. Any adversity I have faced as a result of being born queer has only served to make the whole and healthy person I am today.

I know, without doubt, that God loves me. He loves every single one of us. To acknowledge our truest selves, to stand up and be recognized and visible is honoring the gift of life God gave us.
