This is the stole I made for Easter. Yes, I know that was months ago! I'm trying to be a better blogger, really I am! My only complaint about it is that it's a bit wide. I need to work on keeping stoles narrow and still fitting in all the images I want.
I used this great sparkly fabric that had the advantage of straight lines woven in, so it was easy to cut and sew! (straight lines are not my specialty) The lilies are appliqued using fusible web and then embellished with machine stitching and hand beading. I added a small beaded border to the ends as well.
