No time to get a pretty staged shot of the couch yet, as it has been a crazy weekend, and any free time has been spent like this!
Our couch finally came around 7 PM on Saturday, and we were relieved and amazed that the delivery guys were able to get it through our doorway in one piece! It is so comfortable, and such a relief to know that when we come home after a long day of work or running around, we can both lounge and be comfy next to each other somewhere other than the bed!
Dogs are not allowed on the couch, and we have a special pad that gives them a little shock if they try to get on it, so we put that on every time we leave.
In other news, nothing this weekend went as planned, but I did my best to just go with the flow. I got about 45 minutes at Stitches before it closed, but that was enough time to get the knitting bag/purse that I have lusted over for years at an amazing discount!
It's made by Offhand Designs, and the bag style is Eve. I adore it! Hopefully I can get an action shot of it soon in better light, but I couldn't wait to show you.
I got a couple skeins of hand-dyed ribbon yarn as well, and my friend Cara, who we met for dinner after she was done breaking down her booth, gave me an awesome goody bag, so I will show you my small but lovely yarn haul in the next post.
The good thing about being at Stitches for such a ridiculously short amount of time was that I stayed way under budget, and now I can plan and buy the yarn for my next sweater without the intoxicating crazy shopping vibes of a huge ballroom full of beautiful yarn to cloud my judgment.
More on the craziness of our weekend later. Now it's time to get ready for Monday.
What, no cupholders?

Or magazine holders?
Now don't be spending all your time on that couch, girls!

A comment from Rusty, a dog:
I do not understand this "dogs are not allowed on the couch" thing. We do not have a couch here, only chairs, but I believe that my dog hair only makes the chairs more comfy. And I look so cute sitting in my special chair with my head on the arm of it! I feel sorry for Peanut and Asha.
