I am in the middle/end of packing up my flat, so needless to say, it is CRAZY around here! Les is at the storage unit with some guys we hired to help me move, and I have my fingers crossed that everything will fit. It was amazing how much they were able to fit in the pickup truck we rented, so maybe they'll be able to do their magic at the storage unit too.
My room is just about empty, except for the computer and some random things, like printer paper and jewelry and hangers. The floor looks like I've killed a few chickens in here where the bed used to be, due to my crazy featherbed. I have to find a good vacuum soon and see what I can do about that.
Gayle is not as far along with the moving as I am. I think she's doing most of it tomorrow, though she also has a lot less stuff here than I do. We also have a few big "trailer piles" in the living room, and I'm honestly not sure where all this stuff is going to fit in the trailer...hmm...
The good news is, we're getting wireless installed in the trailer soon, so I should be up and blogging again within a few days. Tomorrow will be another crazy day, as I have a preaching gig a LONG way away, and then a house blessing in San Fran and a potluck dinner in Berkeley. I anticipate being on the road for eight hours or so of my 13 hour day. UGH.
OK, I'm feeling the need to escape this crazy room, so I think I'll make a quick run to Peet's for iced coffee and maybe stop in at the library for a book on cd to entertain me tomorrow. I hope if you're reading this, you will have a more relaxing weekend than I'm having!
