Hello my lovelies. That's right, I'm now home from Michigan, after a hellish 16 hour day of traveling yesterday (three planes, four airports, and way too many men).
I'm not very excited to be home. Of course, I love my friends here, don't get me wrong. I just miss my Michigan friends (Chosen Family) terribly. They are all so dear to me, and two weeks a year is just not enough time to spend with people I love.
My Berkeley friends might have to put up with some moping and whining for a while, until I find something to look forward to again.
I spent all day at Doctor appointments, I have a huge pile of laundry on my to do list tonight, and tomorrow I have my first ordination interview with my statewide denominational office. I have no idea what to wear. My days of short skirts, cowboy boots and lots of cleavage in the woods are over for now, and that sucks.
I'll leave you for now with a picture of me and Sisterknits doing our skit at the annual workers' "No-Talent Talent Show." Sorry, no cleavage here, just matching festiewear and silly expressions. We did a bit of comedy with our Minnesota accents, and apparently we were a hit. People couldn't stop talking about hotdish all week.

welcome back.
cute photo of you two.
i'm looking forward to seeing more photos of the community.
